DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ONE WAY OR TWO WAY SLAB
Hi guys today i am going to tell you very important topic "Difference b/w one way or two way slab"so read it out till the end and follow us on google+ and i will give you link of my YouTube channel you can subscribe to watch the civil engineering related videos so lets get start-
1.ONE WAY SLAB-
One way slab is a slab which is supported by beam on two opposite sides to carry the load along one direction.
In one way slab the ratio of longer span L to shorter span b is equal or greater then 2.
Ex. Verandah slab is the example of one way slab.
2. TWO WAY SLAB-
When a reinforcement concrete slab is supported by in all four sides and the load carry by the support along both direction.
In Two way slab the ratio of longer span L to shorter span b is equal or less then 2.
Ex. These types of slab mostly used in the floor of multi-story building .
