Hi guys today i am going to explain you "Civil Site Engineer Must Know" so guys its very important topic for you if you are a civil engineer and supervisor so read out fully and follow us to get latest information about our topics and subscribe us on YouTube for better understand of the topics and i will provide you link of this article in the last of the topic so lets start-

#1 ONE WAY SLAB:
One way slab is a slab which is supported by beams on the two opposite sides to carry the load along one direction. The ratio of longer span (l) to shorter span (b) is equal or greater than 2, considered as One way slab because this slab will bend in one direction i.e in the direction along its shorter span

#2 TWO WAY SLAB:

Two way slab is a slab supported by beams on all the four sides and the loads are carried by the supports along both directions, it is known as two way slab. In two way slab, the ratio of longer span (l) to shorter span (b) is less than 2.
#3 Minimum thickness of slab should be 125mm
#4 Compressive strength of bricks is 3.5 N/mm²
#5 Maximum concrete free fall allowed is 1.5 meter.
#6 Earth work excavation for basement above 3 m should be stepped form.
#7 Electrical conduits shall not  run in column  .
#8 Dimension tolerance for cubes -+2 mm.
#9 Lapping is not allowed for the bars having diameter more than 36 mm.
#10 Minimum bars for square column is 4 nos and 6 nos for circular column.
# 11 P H value of water should not be less than 6.
#12 for concrete grade M20 and above approved admixture shall be used as per mix design requirement

3.Initial setting time of cement is 30 minutes and final setting time is 10 hours-600 minutes

4.sanitary pipes and electrical conduits will not installed between columns and beams

5.1 chain bar provide in every 1 m² Area spacing not more than 1 meters.

6.Mini diameter of chain bar 12mm.

7.Lapping of reinforcement in slab 60D,Columns 45D, for M20 mix.

8.1 Mason can cover 25 to 30 cub meter brick work in a day.

9.Shape of aggregate generally used should be Angular.

10.In slab 20 mm clear cover in column 40 mm in beams 25 mm in footing 50 mm.
