How to calculate Cement Sand in Plaster

Hi guys today i am going to tell you about above topic so lets start-



 RATIO = 1:6                                                        

where -1= Cement
            6 = Sand

Thickness of Plaster = 12 mm

  Note-
 1- Cement Mortar ratio for wall plastering 1 :6.
           
2- Cement mortar ratio for ceiling plastering 1 :4. 
3- Plastering thickness should not be  more than 12 - 15mm
  if there is need for an additional coat do not do that at one go.

4 - Ensure you are using a good quality
cement.

5 - Must check the manufacturing date of cement it should not be more than 3 months old.

           Volume of Plaster = H x L x T

    If height of plaster = 2 meter
                     Length  = 2 meter
                     thickness = 12 mm ➢0.012Meter

Volume of Plaster =2x2x0.012

                 Volume = 0.048 cub Meter -- Note -this is called wet volume

             Wet Volume = 0 .048 cub meter


 Dry Volume of  Plaster = 0.048 x 1.33

                                        = 0.0638 CubM

CEMENT ➤

                            = (0.0638x1440x1)/7  where 1 = cement ratio 7 = sum of ratio

                           = 13.12Kg

 Convert into bag = 13.12/50

                             =0.26 Bag.

SAND ➤

                     = (0.0638x35.31x6)/7 
where 6 = ratio of sand 7= sum of ratio
                     
                     =1.93 Cub Ft.

HI guys today i am going to talk about above topic so lets start-

                       M:20 ⇨1:1.5:3 ⇛sum =5.5

                                               where M = Mix 
                                                            1 = cement
                                                             1.5=Sand
                                                              3 = Aggregates

Lets suppose -
                         Length of slab =1 ft
                         width of slab  = 1 ft
                        thickness of slab = 1ft

 VOLUME OF SLAB ➤     = 1x1x1

                                          = 1 Cub Ft ⇛0.0283CubMeter

 Dry volume of concrete = 1.54 Cub Meter

CEMENT ➤ =(0.0283x1.54x1)/5.5

                     = 0.0079 Cubi Meter
                    
                         0.0079x1440 ⇛1440= Density of cement
                                 
                        =  11.41Kg

SAND ➤ = (0.0283x1.54x1.5)/5.5

                 = 0.011Cub meter
      
                  = 0.011x35.31
                 = 0.388 Cub Ft

AGGREGATE ➤  = (3x1.54x0.0283)/5.5

                                = 0.023 Cub Meter
  
                              = 0.23x35.31 
      
                              = 0.83 Cub Ft

How to calculate No. of Bricks & Quantity of Cement,Sand, in Mortar

  👉HOW TO CALCULATE No.OF BRICKS &QUANTITY                      OF CEMENT,SAND IN MORTAR👈

            Hi👋 guys today i am going to tell you about above topic so lets start-

Mortar thickness = 10 mm
                                                                                       
Ratio = 1:6 👉sum = 1+6 =7
                                                                                         
 that mean 1 = cement
                  6 = sand.

we are considered VOLUME  = 1 Cub meter.


Volume of brick with Mortar = 200mmx100mm x100mm

                                  Volume =   0.002 Cub meter

No. of bricks in 1 Cubic Meter = 1/0.002
                                              
                            No.s of bricks = 500


Volume of 1 Brick without Mortar = 190mmx90mmx90mm

Volume of 1 Brick without Mortar = 0.001539 Cub Meter

Volume covered by 500 No.s of Brick = 500 x0.001539
                                                          
                                                             = 0.7695 Cub Meter.

Volume of mortar = 1-0.7695
Volume of mortar = 0.2305 👉this is called wet Volume
                                                                                       
Now Dry volume of mortar = 0.2305 x1.31      👉Voulme increase 30% when comes into Dry

            Dry volume of mortar = 0.306565 Cub Meter

CEMENT ➤      = (0.306565x1440)/7 👉Density of cement = 1440 ,sum of ratio = 7

                            = 63 kg
                       
                              63/50

                              1.26 Bags

SAND ➤     =(0.306565 X 35.31)6/7 👉 6 = SAND Ratio 7=sum of Ratio

                      = 9.28 Cub Ft
