How to convert wet volume into dry volume of concrete

Convert Wet Volume Into Dry Volume Of Concrete

======================================================================
Hello friends welcome to our blog today i am going to explain you how to convert wet volume into dry volume of concrete so do subscribe our blog account for more articles about civil engineering and technology in the end of this article i will provide you link of video for your better understanding so do subscribe our YouTube channel so lets get start guys-

.WET VOLUME -

When we calculate the volume of concrete so this volume called wet volume because water ratio added in this volume so that's by its called WET VOLUME.

.DRY VOLUME -

When we remove the water ratio from the concrete so this volume called dry volume in this volume water ratio remains zero.

STEP 1-

CALCULATE THE VOLUME OF CONCRETE-

we have a cube of concrete so its dimensions should be length 1 meter height 1 meter and width 1 meter.
Now volume of concrete is equal to the length cross by width and height
therefore-
              volume of concrete V = LxWxH

                                                V = 1x1x1

                                               V = 1 meter³

     That is called wet volume V = 1 meter³.

STEP 2-

(a). IF AGGREGATES ADDED IN CONCRETE-

If in volume of concrete, aggregates are there so when we change wet volume into dry volume its increase 54%.

WET VOLUME  --------->DRY VOLUME
Dry volume = wet volume +% of increment
 Dry volume = 1 +(54/100)
Dry volume = 1 +0.54
Dry volume = 1.54

This is for 1 meter ³ volume .if there is aggregates in cement sand (CONCRETE)so we will multiply by 1.54 while changing wet volume into dry volume.

Ex- volume of concrete 30 meter³ so its wet volume.now change it into dry volume so

DRY VOLUME = WET VOLUME x 1.54

DRY VOLUME = 30 x 1.54
DRY VOLUME = 46.2 meter³
THIS IS FOR WHEN AGGREGATES ADDED IN CONCRETE-

(b).IF THERE IS NO AGGREGATES IN CONCRETE-

If in volume of concrete, aggregates are not added so when we change wet volume into dry volume its increase 33%.

WET VOLUME  --------->DRY VOLUME
Dry volume = wet volume +% of increment
 Dry volume = 1 +(33/100)
Dry volume = 1 +0.33
Dry volume = 1.33

This is for 1 meter ³ volume .if there is no aggregates added in cement sand (CONCRETE) so we will multiply by 1.33, while changing wet volume into dry volume.

Ex- volume of concrete 35 meter³ so its wet volume.Now change it into dry volume so

DRY VOLUME = WET VOLUME x 1.33

DRY VOLUME = 35 x 1.33
DRY VOLUME = 46.55 meter³

THIS IS FOR WHEN NO AGGREGATES ADDED IN CONCRETE-
