OVER- LAPPING LENGTH OF STEEL FOR COLUMN SLAB AND BEAM

Hello friends welcome back to another article today i am going to explain you How to calculate overlapping length of steel for the Beam Slab & Column.And i made a video on of this topic on my YouTube channel so in the end i will provide you link of that video so you can watch it there.
So lets get start-
first we will talk about slab-
- FOR SLAB -
For slab overlapping length is equal to the 50 cross D that mean-
Over lapping length for slab = 50xD
we consider 12 mm Diameter bars are providing for slab so for this overlapping length will be
overlapping length will be = 50 x D --D 12MM
over lapping length for slab = 50 x 12
over lapping length for slab = 600 mm
- FOR BEAM-
For beam overlapping length is equal to the 40 cross D that mean-
Overlapping lenght for Beam = 40 x D
We consider 20 mm diameter bars providing in beam so
Over lapping length will be = 40 x 20
.
Over lapping length for beam =800mm.
- FOR COLUMN -
For column over lapping length is equal to the 45 cross Diameter of bar that mean
Over lapping length for column = 45 X D
We consider 25 mm bars providing in the column.
So over lapping length for Column = 45 x 25
Over lapping length for Column = 1125 mm
